A native Oregonian, I moved from PortIand toCannon Beach in 1983. I discovered that I loved the pace of life, the community and living in nature. As a widow who has raised two children, now 23 and 29, community support has been essential both personally and professionally.
In 2005, I was ordained and felt my calling was to be of service. The service I chose was performing weddings because there is a part of me that wants to connect with people in a special way. Conducting ceremonies has been the most enjoyable thing I've done in my life. It's wonderful helping new couples begin their lives together in a happy ceremony amidst the beauty of nature.
In my spare time, what little there is, I enjoy gardening, sewing and, of course, walks on the beach. I also enjoy the time I spend with my family and friends. Though my life is simple, it is full of joy.
